Wedding Dress: I change my mind

After careful consideration and a trial on ordering dress from Hong Kong, I decided to buy a dress here instead.

I've spent so much time on contacting tailor in China and Hong Kong, hoping to order my dream dress in a fraction of the price. Unfortunately, their craftsmanship is just sooooo not up to my standard. My standard is not that high actually. I just ask for the right material for the right dress. Somehow, these Chinese tailors think there is only 1 type of Satin and 1 type of Chiffon. -_-''' Their embroidery  and beaded are horrible. The worst thing is, whatever dress style you gave them, they will tell you they can make it 100% similar. Later when they send me pictures of dresses they've made, it was so bad, not even 40% similar. Maybe they are right. If I cant let go of these detail, I probably should not order a dress oversea.

So here I am, I am going to order a dress here in Canada or US.  Base on my budget and the style I am looking for, I've narrowed down my options to pretty much 2 brands, Mori Lee and Ella Rosa.

My wedding dress criteria:
  • One piece dress  that look one piece
  • Sweet heart neckline
  • Puffy A-line
  • drop waist line
  • Pick up skirt
  • Not too long chain
  • Blend in beading
  • Not hip hugging
I will go to a Mori Lee trunk show later this week. Then I will try on some more Ella Rosa on January. Hopefully I can catch some of the 2010 Spring dress. Since it take half year to order a dress, I have to get my dress by the end of January! Here's are some sample of my style:
