May and I decided to get some help from a wedding planner in our big day. We need someone to take care of everything on July 18 and make us worry free. We thought of asking help from our friend or family who has taken the wedding planning class. However, asking them to take care of the wedding run down is not exactly enjoyable. And we just can't stand the conflict of identity between guest and helper. I will feel so bad if I need to ask my guest to run here and there for me. May and I probably end up running around myself and that is bad! So, wedding planner, we need one!
We've consulted a few wedding consultants so far. It was really nice to talk to them all. They brought up many concerns or idea that May and I have never thought about. Although we would only pick one at the end, the use of these few consultation hours is well worth it~
One of the gay wedding planner is very creative and brought us lots of new idea. Unfortunately, he is not a very reliable person. He promised to send us his proposal time after time but never he gave us anything. I was really disappointed.
Then, we met Lisa, she is a very sincere young Chinese girl. She may look young but apparently she have done quite a lot of wedding before. I can see how she values our idea. I felt she will be a very good addition to my wedding planning. We haven't sign our contract yet. She's already helping me. Really can't complain about this!
I am very looking forward to work with her in the very soon future.
