The new design of wedding candy and favor

Our wedding decoration is really coming along.

One of the new additions to our pink and brown wedding theme is the wedding candy and favor. I have ordered our favor and candy packaging like two months after I started planning my wedding. Recently, I decide I don't like it anymore, haha. So, with the remain 20% budget from the packaging, I have to use my creativity to make my vision come true! (By 20%, I mean 15 bucks!!!)

I have looked at lots of candy boxes, NONE of them are within my budget. Besides, these candy box design have no way to match with my favor box. I can buy a bigger box and put everything into one place. But, again, my budget is just not allowing this to happen. My only option is...make use of the stuffs I bought last time to work out something new.

I found a paper box company who has the candy box size I am looking for. They are selling them in super low price because it is a left over shipment. I also order a big bag of decorative heart-shape pearls (I didnt use the heart-shape pearls in this prototype). Together of the ribbons and pink tissue paper I bought last time, I made these:

Haha~Mission accomplished~ This gift set is cute and elegant. It's pink and brown. It is everything I want!! I can't wait to see them sit on the tables of my wedding reception.  Best of all, the Candy boxes is only equivalent to $5CAD!!!! I can't help to be impressed by myself. With $5CAD, I changed the whole design!

I use the remain $10 to purchase some pink paper bag so that my guests can have something to carry her wedding favors. Yeah!

I am still on budget but my gifts are 10X prettier!
